Identifying Features: Yellow face, small size, yellow-green body, black eyes, long black and white tail, light black feathers with patches of white

Fun Facts:

  • Generally, Yellow Wagtail is a green and yellow bird but actually it varies in appearance over the large range.
  • The bird got its name for the continuously wagging tail and distinguishing bright yellow colour.
