Identifying Features: sharp beak, pointed beak, yellow feet, brown spotted breast, grey and white colour, brown wings, bird of prey

Fun Facts:

  • Shikra is declared as the State Bird of Punjab.
  • Their vision is eight times sharper than human vision which enables them to attack the prey direct from their flight.
