Identifying Features: yellowish legs, white underparts, brown-grey upper parts, light brown head and neck, black bill

Fun Facts:

  • Mostly eat insects and other small invertebrates.
  • Strongly migratory, wintering at freshwater sites in tropical Africa, the Indian Subcontinent and parts of Southeast Asia.
