Identifying Features: pink body, pale orange legs and bill, glossy black head, black wings, black tail

Fun Facts:

  • Rosy starlings are gregarious birds and form large and noisy flocks. Birds are strongly attracted to flowering trees.
  • They are also beneficial to farmers as they prey on pests such as locusts and grasshoppers.
