Identifying Features: White face, black tail, white lower body, sandy brown wings, silvery-grey beak, brown bird, small size.

Fun Facts:

  • Indian silverbills have no differentiating color between the age groups and sexes.
  • These are very social birds. They forage in large groups of around 60 birds.
