Fun Facts:

  • Common Tailorbirds use to stitch a big leaf using plant fibre or spider silk to create a cradle in which they build their nests. They are very active and restless.
  • They are considered as strong singers among all the birds. They make much louder melodious calls as compared to their tiny size.
  • Rudyard Kipling has immortalized the bird by positioning in his famous Jungle Book.
